This Privacy Policy explains how Dr. Anando Sengupta ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and protects information you provide through this appointment-booking landing page (ads.dranandosengupta.com). We respect your privacy and are committed to handling your personal information lawfully, fairly, and transparently — in accordance with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

When you submit the contact form on this page, we collect:

  • Your name (first and last)
  • Your email address
  • Your phone number
  • The medical concern you select from the dropdown
  • Any symptoms or message you choose to share in the optional text field

We also automatically collect technical information such as your IP address, device/browser type, and the date/time of your visit, via Google Tag Manager and standard server logs. This is used solely for security, analytics, and abuse prevention.

2. How we use your information

The personal information you submit is used only for the following purposes:

  • To contact you by phone, WhatsApp or email to schedule an appointment
  • To understand your medical concern in advance so the doctor can prepare for the consultation
  • To send appointment reminders, follow-up messages, or post-consultation care instructions related to your visit

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party. We do not use your data for marketing campaigns unrelated to your appointment.

3. Who has access to your information

Your information is accessed only by:

  • Dr. Anando Sengupta and his immediate clinical team
  • Honcho Metrics (the agency managing the clinic's digital presence) for the limited purpose of delivering form submissions to the clinic team
  • ZeptoMail (Zoho TransMail), the transactional email service used to deliver the form submission to the clinic's inbox
  • Google, via Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics, for aggregate traffic measurement (no personally identifiable information is shared with Google through this tracking)

4. How we protect your information

  • This site is served over HTTPS / TLS encryption — your form submission is encrypted in transit.
  • Submissions are protected by spam-bot guards (honeypot field, optional reCAPTCHA v3, and origin checks).
  • Email transmission to the clinic uses authenticated transactional mail (ZeptoMail) over TLS.
  • Information is retained only as long as necessary to complete your appointment and any clinically appropriate follow-up. You can request deletion at any time (see Section 7 below).

5. Cookies and tracking

This page uses Google Tag Manager to load Google Analytics, which sets cookies in your browser to measure aggregate traffic. These cookies do not personally identify you. You can disable cookies via your browser settings without affecting your ability to use the site.

6. Third-party links

This site links to external websites including dranandosengupta.com, Google Maps, Practo, LinkedIn, Fortis Healthcare, JustDial, and WhatsApp. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third-party sites — please review their privacy policies separately.

  • Correct any inaccuracies in your information
